Shortlisted for the 2022 Sports Technology Industry Awards

LONDON, UK, 15 February, 2022: Paddle Logger, a multi-award winning mobile app for paddle sports, has been included in the list of finalists for two awards at the 2022 Sports Technology Industry Awards.

This is the third year in a row that Paddle Logger has been shortlisted. This year, they are in the running for Sustainability in Sport, and Best Technology for Fitness and Participation. Nominees for other awards across the board this year include Sky Sports, the NBA, SailGP, BBC Sport, Red Bull Racing, Oracle, and Intel.

Paddle Logger's inclusion is thanks to a broad and wide-ranging commitment to sustainability, and a drive to create the best app available for paddle sports.

Paddle Logger uses its platform to help paddlers become more environmentally responsible, and as a member of 1% for the Planet, the company has also committed a proportion of annual revenue to female-led non-profit eXXpedition to support their work around tackling ocean plastic.

The team works continuously on innovation and development with new features released regularly, with their flagship feature being PaddleLIVE®, a safety feature unique to the app - designed to give paddlers the peace of mind to go further. Alongside multiple events and engagement, Paddle Logger throughout the pandemic remained committed to keeping paddlers on the water and safely growing our sport.

David Walker, Paddle Logger CEO, said: “Our goal is to be leaders both in technology and sustainability and we work really hard to deliver impact and value beyond our small size. This is certainly validating that, especially alongside so many other excellent businesses.”
